Louis Vuitton pays respect to the late Virgil Abloh in the biggest way feasible when the high-end fashion brand unveils the Spring/Summer 2022 menswear collection this month.
Louis Vuitton recruited Virgil Abloh in March 2018 as head of menswear. The aim was to reimagine the brand with Abloh’s incredible genius that saw his haute street wear label Off-White compete with staple luxury giants at the highest level.
In a statement released by LV following the news of the 41-year-old’s passing, Chairman Michael Burke described Abloh as “one of the best cultural communicators of our times.”
Inorder to commemorate the life of Virgil and immense contributions to fashion and design, LV made a final show in Miami to proudly continue to celebrate his legacy.
