Wizkid And Davido To Share Stage on a Music Tour

Nigerian’s hitmakers Davido and Wizkid will be performing together on a joint music tour.

Davido is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born on November 21, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia, United States and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. Davido began his music career in 2011, releasing his debut album Omo Baba Olowo in 2012. He is known for his hit songs such as “Fall,” “If,” “Aye,” “Skelewu,” “Fia,” and “Blow My Mind,” among others. Davido has won several awards, including the BET Awards, MTV Africa Music Awards, and The Headies Awards, and has collaborated with a number of international artists.

Wizkid, whose real name is Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born on July 16, 1990 and began his music career at the age of 11, releasing his debut album, “Superstar,” in 2011. Wizkid is known for his hit songs such as “Holla at Your Boy,” “Ojuelegba,” “Come Closer,” “Soco,” “Manya,” “Fever” and “Ginger” among others. He has also collaborated with many international artists like Drake, Beyonce, Tyga and many more. He has won several awards including BET Awards, Headies Awards, and Channel O Music Video Awards. He is considered one of the most successful and influential African musicians of his generation.

The two stars have had a well-publicized feud, also known as a “beef,” for several years. The origins of their beef are not entirely clear, but it is believed to have started in the early 2010s when both artists were rising to fame in the Nigerian music industry. The feud has been characterized by public social media exchanges, diss tracks, and subliminal lyrics in songs.

In the past, both of them have thrown shades at each other in their songs and interviews. Davido has been known to make references to Wizkid in some of his songs, and Wizkid has also been known to do the same. The situation has led to their fans engaging in social media wars, and it has been a big topic of discussion among the Nigerian music industry. Despite this, both of them have also shown appreciation for each other’s talent, and there were also rumours of them resolving their beef and collaborating on music together. However, this has not happened yet, though the afro hitmakers might share stage this year.

Wizkid made this known when he posted the announcement on his Instagram page.

In his Instagram story Wizkids wrote, “After my ‘MLLE (More Love, Less Ego)’ tour!! Davido and I going on tour! save your coins! I no wan hear pim”.

Fans who have habitually compared both singers congratulated the pair on the news. as well as commending him for his display of respect and support.

The announcement of the tour has since excited many fans who have since longed for a joint performance between Wizkid and Davido.
