Migos’ Takeoff Dead at 28 After Being Shot in Houston – HuntrMania

Migos’ label, Quality Control Music, has released an official statement on Instagram in the wake of the rapper’s tragic passing.

“It is with broken hearts and deep sadness that we mourn the loss of our beloved brother Kirsnick Khari Ball, known to the world as Takeoff,” the statement reads. “Senseless violence and a stray bullet has taken another life from this world and we are devastated. Please respect his family and friends as we all continue to process this monumental loss.”

Takeoff has died at the age of 28.

According to a report from TMZ, Migos rapper Takeoff has died after being shot in Texas at a bowling alley called 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston. There were up to 50 people at the location at the time of the shooting, Houston Police Department Lt. Salazar confirmed.

Take Off

The incident reportedly took place around 2:30 a.m. local time in Houston. Takeoff, born Kirsnick Khari Ball, was at the establishment where a game of dice was allegedly being played. Quavo was also present at the time. There is no confirmation that Takeoff nor Quavo were part of the dice game. At some point, an altercation broke out at the venue. Takeoff was allegedly shot in either the head or neck and pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other people were reportedly shot as well, although their conditions are not known. Police report they were taken to the hospital in private vehicles. Quavo is uninjured, according to TMZ.
