One of the promising biggest music festivals in Africa is back.

Before the COVID 19 total lock down on events in most parts of the world, Ugandan artist Eddy Kenzo had organized a big music festival titled “Eddy Kenzo Festival” in Kampala the capital of Uganda.

This music festival, according to Eddy Kenzo, was to happen on March 28th, 2020 and was to attract big volumes of people from all over East Africa and Africa as a whole but due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the music festival didn’t happen.

Eddy Kenzo, is a Ugandan singer and music executive who is a founder and a member of Big Talent Entertainment. He received international attention after the release of his 2014 single, “Sitya Loss” and an accompanying viral video that featured the Ghetto Kids.

While at the press conference that was held at “Kati Kati Bar and Restaurant” Kampala, Uganda in February, Kenzo and his management confirmed to journalists that there was a big line up of performers to feature on the festival on that day from local to international acts, especially those that he has worked with on different projects.

Through his official Twitter account, the African Prince assured his fans all over the world that the Eddy Kenzo festival will be returning soon this year.

Eddy Kenzo will be joining other artists like Diamond Platinumz, Harmonize who are known for staging festivals in East Africa. He will be the first Uganda artist to stage a festival in the country.
