Nigerian singer Davido Adeleke donated all the money he received from fans and friends to orphanages across Nigeria.
Davido asked his friends and fans across the world to send him Sh272,000 each to appreciate him on his 29th birthday.
Davido later took to his page and expressed gratitude as he shared screenshots showing how much some of his friends had sent him.
“Let’s keep going!!! Love you guys. Man, I am speechless,” he wrote.
In a statement, the music star said he has set up a committee that will manage and distribute the money to orphanages across the country.
“I am delighted to announce that all the funds received totalling N200,000,000 (Sh54 million) will be donated to orphanages across Nigeria as well as the Paroche Foundation,” he said.
