Grammys 2026: Access Isn’t Enough

To be clear, the 2026 Grammys red carpet was rough. A lot of people showed up underdressed, overstyled, or unsure of what they were trying to say. For a night that’s meant to sit at the intersection of music and culture, the fashion missed more often than it landed.

There were looks that felt lazy. Others leaned on safe formulas that have been worn out for years. Some outfits looked expensive but empty, like the clothes arrived before the idea did. It was one of those carpets where you keep waiting for the moment and it never really comes.

A few people did try. Some understood silhouette, some understood styling, some understood restraint. Even then, most of those attempts stopped short of being memorable. We’re rating the best looks because they deserve acknowledgment, but the bigger story is how low the standard fell on a night that should demand more.
