Another Ugandan show to stream on Netflix

The Ugandan movie industry is thriving to greater heights, with several new movies and skits gaining a lot of publicity on different platforms like television online.

‘Kyaddala’, a locally produced television show, is going to become the second Ugandan movie to stream on Netflix, sponsored by Reach a Hand Uganda, the movie is about real life experiences of sexual reproductive issues that affect the youth in Uganda. The movie digs deep into campus students’ lives of sex, academics and adulthood.

The show features re-known personalities like socialite Anita Fabiola, radio and media personality Sammy Wetala, musician Allan Toniks, legendary actor Sam Bagenda aka Dr. Bbosa and Lucy Bunyenyezi.

Kyaddala will be returning for its second season next month and the team recently hosted an exclusive screening at the Nsambya based Mestil Hotel.

The event was attended by high end personalities like socialites, actors and actresses, musicians as well media personalities with performances from Allan Tonix, who also performed the official Kyaddala song.

Kyaddala is going to be the second Ugandan movie to premiere on Netflix after Loukman Ali’s “The Girl in the Yellow Jumper” that premiered last year on December 26th 2021.
