The long-awaited music and arts festival, envisioned by American rappers Chance the Rapper and Vic Mensa, finally came to fruition last Friday, January 6th, 2023. Dubbed the “Africa Rising Festival,” the event brought together Black people from all over the world to connect and share new experiences in a celebration of culture and community.
