Maurice Kirya has dropped his new album’s artwork on his social media.
Maurice last released an album in 2019 called ‘Beyond Myself’. According to his latest update, the coming album will be called The Road To Kirya.
Sunday, he had tweeted and announced that he had completed the production of his coming album.
“Today, the 6th day of March 2022, I’ve completed my album production. Tomorrow, the 7th day of March 2022, I will rest. I’m in with this creation of mine. Album Title to be revealed soon,” Maurice tweeted.

On releasing the new album’s artwork and album name, he said on Instagram: “The Road to Kirya album dropping soon.”
He conveyed that he invested a lot of his time, soul, and money in putting the album together during the pandemic.
“This by far will be the most expensive album I’ve ever made, I poured my soul and my bank account into it, making such a body of work during a pandemic is no joke, especially with the regulations on shows. I am just so happy that it’s almost ready for you!” he said previously.
Maurice is one of the Ugandan musicians who seemed to have vanished from the entertainment scene after the pandemic happened and this is because he rarely makes public appearances as well as media interviews.
Maurice also had his official Facebook account hacked and he is yet to return to the page, being run by unknown hackers.
He also recently announced on social media that he had broken up with his baby mama.
“It’s already been over a year since we mutually separated. We’ve learned how to co-parent and are doing a great job at it. Our friendship will always remain, as will the undeniable bond we have as the parents to our dear daughter. Love, always,” he tweeted.
