The iKon Awards an African prestigious award which recognizes film and art happened on Saturday last week and saw several arts and creatives from Uganda and Africa win accolades for their contributions towards the Film Industry.

The film Unheard – starring Jackline Katusime, Joseph Kahirimbanyi and Cyril Baryabawe – won the Best Film Award in addition to six other accolades, namely: Best Director, Best Actress in a Leading Role, Best Sound, Best Makeup and Special Effects; Best Production Design and; Emerging Film Award. Beyond the awards, HuntrMania captured some fashion moments of the red carpet at Serena Hotel Kampala. The red carpet was full of glitz and glamour, with different artists and stars showing up in African jewelry and wears.
